F-avto at the Drugraicing Championship closing ceremony on August, 28th at the airport Minsk-1

On August 28th, 2010 Airport Minsk-1 met us with gloomy weather and grey wet asphalt. However, participants weren’t afraid of weather conditions, and dragsters’ cars gradually were getting action territory. As always, we ranked among the first and could see all preparation. Dj attuned background music; sportsmen brought their cars on additional transport.

As always, there were visitors from the neighboring states, and also Belarusian sportsmen. There were also interesting cars. For example, the corvette with the super-turbine caught spectator’s eyes for almost all the action. There were old familiar faces from the previous competitions. In a word, look pictures and get acquainted. Unfortunately, we will not show all the participants. The others can be seen in the gallery.

Some interesting moments about the participants. Everybody liked “the eight” from Moscow. It won all foreign cars. Dear inhabitants of Belarus, I think, soon we will have fine possibility to get similar car after new customs duties introduction. And Toyota Camry left perplexed...

I see with half an eye that final heats took place only in classes of front and 4 wheel drive. The line was too wet for a rear wheel drive. It was rather risky to compete. In Street class only qualifying heats were taken place, Dmitry Kondratenko from Minsk on Eagle Talon 2,0 showed the best result. And time of line passage turned out second best because of weather conditions. However, everybody was happy - and spectators and those who despite of weather was succeed to compete in the final.

So, here, actually, the result of competitions: Classes on which final arrivals weren't taken place: Dmitry Kondratenko Eagle Talon 2,0 showed the best time 12,07, Zelenkov Sergey Minsk on Mitsubishi Lancer 2,0 was runner-up showed time 12,30, the third result belongs to Konstantin Sinebok on Mitsubishi EVO 9 2,0 showed time 12,36. In 4 wheel drive class in the final Corvette from Poland won, and in front drive the Moscow “eight” won.

We’d like to talk about our girls separately. Despite the weather, the girls brought it on and pleased spectators. In spite of rain, cold they were dancing on the vehicle carrier, smiled and were photographed, you may see it in many discussions the Internet, none of them escaped observation.

Certainly, I can not finish the narration without pictures of our F-avto girls: hares and “Laras Kroft”. They are not just beauties, but also are steady against low temperatures. Only outstanding staff works for F-avto company! Look and enjoy!
